I’m really let down by how this turned out. At first, we were promised huge tax savings and a rebate for last year's taxes. The engagement letter mentioned that Zeal would handle the prep and submission of reports to HMRC, but there was a serious lack of communication on their part. The valuation report was completely off, even the house plan was incorrect. The figures in that report were just absurdly wrong. My accountant ended up having to submit the info to HMRC, which was supposed to be Zeal's job. I had to pay a termination fee just to break the agreement with them because I lost all trust in their services.

This is yet another part of my tax claim since I sold my business and am no longer employed. They’ve made claims against the previous SE tax I paid, and yes, we had to settle with them through our claim since they handled everything. I was surprised to find out I could claim money I never knew existed, and this final claim feels like a nice little bonus.
I've really enjoyed my time working with this company; they helped me get money back from HMRC. Their professionalism has been top-notch at every level. They’ve been proactive throughout the process, and I’m not just talking about one individual—I'm referring to the entire team who genuinely had my best interests in mind.
